hi dawn,
thanks for stopping by my blog so i could find yours, another wonderfully creative place! i love this w/ the animals inside it! sounds lovely, your trip to greece.
Dawn
Thanks for visiting my blog. Photography not art for me. My kids/wife have the creative art gene. You might argue photo images are art, but to me it’s more technical mixed with the right moment. I admire your creative work. All the best.
Thank you Victor! I think your kids and wife’s creative art gene must be rubbing off on you! Just the right combination of technique and creativity.
All the best!
Love the image especially because I had to look closely to see all there was to see. It reminds me of the block printing we learned how to do in high school. Very nice!
Hi,
Thanks for this.
Your blog is lovely and a great inspiration for my drawings, I typically begin each of my drawings with a photograph.
Looking forward to visiting often. All the best.
Dawn, your birds are utterly gorgeous. I have just been looking at them with my 6 year old who is very impressed! Thank you for liking my page. If you ever get a chance, you should pop down to the South West of England and see our amazing birdlife – November is great for watching the Starlings and I personally love all our Buzzards, flying over the Quantock hills, my daughter’s favourite is the Peregrin Falcon, though there aren’t many of those around! Lovely making your acquaintance xxx
Hello Christina,
Very nice to meet you. Thank you so much for this… an amazing compliment coming from you (and your daughter), you have an amazing eye, your photographs are just beautiful! I have never been to England but I now have another great reason to visit. I love starlings and would love to see them flying over the Quantock hills 🙂 Starlings are plentiful in New York City which I am very happy about. Looking forward to looking at more of your photos. Thanks again. Dawn
I’ve just got back from a weekend in Wales (Pembrokeshire) – and I have got something VERY special for you… I will blog about it in a moment… so come and see… And, I can pop it on Facebook or Smugmug for you to download it. Was thinking of your beautiful birds when I got back and saw the photo I actually took!!xx
Pretty cool. When I first looked at the image, I only saw a bird. When I revisited your site this morning, I see that there is also a horse inside of the bird. Interesting how the eye perceives an image and brain interprets it. Good stuff!
This made me smile because of the size of this crows latest “meal”. We actually have crows in our backyard that must weight 4-6 lbs. Very healthy and well fed. Great pic. I am reblogging to my blog for others to enjoy!
Thank you for looking into my blog; I have subscribed to yours. You have inspired me to add my equine artwork to my site, (watercolors); stay tuned. I am sharing your site with others who will be interested in your artwork.
Thanks so much Cheri, I am looking forward to seeing your equine artwork! I am so inspired by horses, they are awesome creatures. Thanks again for stopping by! Dawn
Your drawings are totally awesome man! I am an avid drawer as well, and I was wondering if you could follow me back since I followed you back! Can’t wait to see more!
Lovely! Gave me a smile at the end of a long day.
