Side By Side As Crows

This is my first new post in some time. It was difficult to get started again.

I wanted to take a moment to thank those of you who have sent your supportive comments and great feedback over the past weeks and months. To date, I have received feedback from folks in over one hundred countries. I am touched by your kind words and insights and interesting perspectives.

Special thanks to Christina, a talented photographer from England who posted awesome Kestral photos today on her blog: steeniesphotoblog.wordpress.com  Thank you Christina for your lovely post today.  Please check out Christina’s wonderful photos.  I know these photos will lead to future sketches and paintings.

I am always open to collaboration.  So much of the creative process is a solo experience, it is great to have the oportunity to share it with other creative soles.

Thanks for liking my post. Not sure how you found it. My husband just got home from your city tonight. He has many warm hearted and sometimes funny stories about many of the people he met while he was there. Hope you are safe and well. Love the crows.

    Hi Sketch,
Lovely art work. I can see how challenging it would be (at least for me). I admire artists so much because I don’t draw – only once in a while with the wrong side of my brain. Thanks for stopping by my blog. I’m honored, and hope you will be back. 🙂

  16. Beautiful! As a photographer I love the idea of a painter reinterpreting a photo and I particularly like the soft feel of the image. Thanks for checking out my blog and bringing me to yours.

  22. I’d say this piece is something to, er, crow about. And those are very unusual crow tracks you’ve used for a backdrop… : P

Lovely work. Are you on Twitter? Your work would be perfect for… tweeting. : )

Thanks so much Dora for this, I appreciate your visiting my blog. I typically work in water colors and gouache. I love working with oils but have been avoiding them because of the toxic fumes of the turpentine. Your blog is great! All the best.
